Quick question, or problem. When I convert ALAC files in itunes to wav format, it does not tag the files wtih any information at all because itunes uses its own weird scheme. The only problem is, I want to convert these files to FLAC with the FLAC front end, and when I do, the output files have no information whatsoever (because apple didnt tag them). Is there any way around this?
Thanks.

If you search the forum at all, you will find that WAV files cannot be tagged.

Yes, I was going to do that but I remembered somewhere I was reading up on the technical side of a wav file, and it said they supported like 1.1 tagging, or something similar. I guess I was wrong but I could have sworn that is what I read.

You can tag .wav files, for example you can use Adobe Audition.
But you cant see the tags when it plays in media players.
You can only see the tags when you convert it to the other formats.
Also Audition can save extra non-audio information.
& you can add album art in any format by Audition & more...
