Hi all,

I have a question about the 'MPEG info' display using EAC.

I've just switched to EAC, using Lame 3.98b5 to rip to mp3, and it creates the ID3 tags and MPEG info fine (shows up in winamp), but in my music folder in windows xp, when i right-click on a track > properties > summary > advanced, there's nothing. All my pre EAC tracks show info (track name, artist, length, bite-rate, channels, sample rates, comments)... have i missed something?

In EAC under compression options > external compression i've got the command line option:
-V 2 --vbr-new --add-id3v2 --pad-id3v2 --ignore-tag-errors --ta "%a" --tt "%t" --tg "%m" --tl "%g" --ty "%y" --tn "%n" %s %d

If anyone could enlighten me I'd be most grateful,
Thanks, Andy.

Did you disable EAC's ID3 tagging?

By heck Skelly, that fixed it. Thanks!
