I'm working on a project for my school, which involves setting up a WikiWiki. I'm currently evaluating different Wiki systems on their features and ease of use and trying to decide what to use. At the moment choices are:
PHPWiki
Moin
TWiki

Does anybody have experience with any of those systems or Wikis in general? What is easiest to set up and maintain / has most features?
Thanks for your input.

Behind the scene some of the ha mods/admins have been using plone to set up a site with guides and other stuff. Check it out.

Looks very nice, but it uses Zope and seems to be a bit too much for my purpose.

My project is to set up a Knowledge Management System (Wiki or not, doesn't matter) on our school webserver (Apache2/PHP4/Perl5) for both teachers and students. I have full access to the server, so installing Zope is possible if plone has any needed features I can not implement using one of the mentioned Wiki systems.

I set up a wiki not long ago using WikiTikiTavi, but I don't remember the url... Let's Google...
There you go:
http://tavi.sourceforge.net/

It uses PHP and MySQL. It was fairly easy to install, but I didn't try to change the looks of it almost at all, so I don't know about that. (I just changed the .css a bit to my liking...)

I would be interested in finding a nice one that uses JSP and any JDBC database... biggrin.gif Ideas? wink.gif
