Full Version: Reading APEv2 embedded album art in foobar2000 (from wavpack)

Hello all,

I've been trying to find support for this for a while, to no avail. I use Wavpack with embedded cue sheets (an entire album in a file). And I absolutely must have embedded album art displayed in foobar. smile.gif

If there is support for this, great! Where?

If not, I've never worked on a plugin before, but I should be able to conquer it (I've developed many other things). I'm having trouble finding the very latest sources for foo_uie_albumart. It seems it's going several different directions.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Seems like there are ways to embed the art, but so far no way to display it. I guess you should hang around the fb2k 3rd party component forum and watch for an updated album art plugin.

I figured as much, but I was wondering if maybe I could get the sources and contribute? Is there any way to move this topic into the fb2k 3rd part component forum?

Thanks!

The source for my latest version of foo_uie_albumart is available from my plugin page:

http://cherans.bol.ucla.edu/fooplugins.html

There's also a version available that reads images from id3v2 and flac tags, but I don't think the source is available:

Thanks, gfngfgf, I'll take a look. I was hoping the the id3v2 and flac version source code was available, because I'm not sure I can add the support myself, without an example. I'll see what I can do...
