Hi! I have done some transcoding from lossless to Ogg Vorbis. I used the tool bchunk (I'm in FreeBSD) to cut up the CD image .wav-files into tracks according to a .cue, and then encoded the single tracks to Ogg. I later discovered that the first track on many or all albums now had a 0.5-5.5 ms distortion (click) in the beginning. It's only the beginning of the first track on each disc, so it's pretty much a minor problem.
Can you give me a tip on how to remove or silence these 0.5-5.5 ms without having to reencode? It seems vcut doesn't "cut it" (pun intended). Windows or Linux (or FreeBSD) methods or software are all good.
I could have sworn I've seen an "Ogg Trimmer" a few years ago...
