Is it possible to know what test failed if 'make check' exit with '1 of 7 tests failed'?

Compiled and tested under ubuntu 7.04 amd64.

So when is this "officially" coming out?

Hi!

I have question: If 1.2.1 files will be compatible with old decoder?

yes

Thanks, I was about to do my collection in Flac and I figured I'd wait until the new version is out. I realize I can transcode, but if its coming out tommorrow, might as well wait for that. How fast does rarewares usually get binaries?

Not to late to break compatibility with existing decoders though, I mean that wouldn't cause any problems at all right? wink.gif

thanks for the feedback. unfortunately automake is not really suited for tests with a lot of output so if you can't scroll back far enough in the console to see, you have to run individual tests to find out, or do 'make check >check.out 2>&1' and look at check.out

Are there any differences between the files encoded by this version and the last?

I've retested 1.2.1 (release) at work under previous ubuntu release (edgy) on pentium 4 (32-bit system). At the end I've got "1 of 7 tests failed" too.

In log file I can find only one error:

CODE
testing --skip=# (encode) (raw<->flac)... OK
testing --skip=mm:ss (encode) (raw<->flac)... OK
testing --skip=mm:ss.sss (encode) (raw<->flac)... 50c.skip11.raw z50c.skip0:01.1001.raw differ: char 1, line 1
ERROR: file mismatch for --skip=0:01.1001 (encode) (raw<->flac)
FAIL: ./test_flac.sh

If at amd64 box I'll get another error I'll post about it.

Another bug (it must be fixed, but...). After "flac --best -V --replay-gain *.wav" I've got:
