Really really off-topic

Hi all!
I've just mounted a mini-ITX computer featuring a VIA EPIA with a C3 at 800 Mhz. processor
As OS I've installed WindowsXP. From this point all works fine: audio, network
video... great!

Now I want to set-up the Wake-On-LAN feature and I don't have a clear idea about
how to do it...

Must I change a jumper In the Motherboard?
The case is that the manual that come with my mainboard don't talk about Wake-On-LAN
It has documentation about Wake-On-Modem... so I'm not sure about the Jumpers settings.
It has a similar jumper to the one asigned in the manual to the Wake-On-Modem...

I've been taking a look to the BIOS options and I have active the "Wake on PCI" option,
but I'm no sure that this Is the key about the trouble...

I tried tho Wake-Up the computer using "Magic Packet" from AMD with no visible results...
The program sends the signal to the computer, but It doesn't respond in any way...
and now as you can see I'm seriously confussed.

I'll be very pleased If someone could help me with this issue.
Any help will be great, great appretiated.

I've posted this topic in www.viaarena.com forums but nobody has replied yet... so maybe
here somebody has any idea about this.

Thanks a lot in advance.
Best regards from spain.

I don't know how to enable the Wake-On-LAN feature on your motherboard.
Maybe Looking for wake on LAN in the BIOS.

But I know when you enable the Wake-On-LAN feature the LNK (link) LED must burn even when the computer is switched off (standby mode). I hope this is any help.

Hi
I've testing with several options at the BIOS related to energy-consumption
and Wake up devices... but I don't got any progress

About the LED note, I've had readed something about that somewhere, but
it's usefull to be sure about this point for continuing the testing.

Thanks for your help.
Best regards.
