Hey guys,

Im new on this forum, glad to be here,
Just wanted to let me know your opinions, Im an enthusiast of "high quality mp3" since its playable everywhere and when I rip a CD I put these commands on my lame "lame -h -V 0 --vbr-new" to get the most of the song. I believe this gives me all the quality possible in mp3 at a small size (8Mb average).

Reading lame documentation they say 320Kbps cbr is an extreme insane quality, but the file will be bigger.

So, would you think its correct to use variable bitrate or do you think is better 320kbps at constante bitrate?

Thanks in advance for your opinions, and regards from Peru wink.gif

This topic has been beaten to death countless times already. Search the forum, and read the sticky posts.

The bottom line: Do ABX tests, and decide at which point MP3 is transparent to you.
