I don't understand anymore ...I use EAC for MP3 and OGG and I decided to try MPC for a chance. I used this thread:
http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....=ST&f=11&t=1927all the settings are in order but somehow the external encoder doesn't start..or actually it does for about 0.1 sec and then it's gone again. I am probably overlooking a very elementary thing but I am blind I suppose.
Please help this dumb idiot

are you sure that you have the Parameter passing scheme set to "User Defined Encoder"?
can't think of anything else right now, hope it helps..

look in : eac _compression options_external compression
user defined encoder
file extension .mpc
path C:\........\mppenc.exe
--quality 6 --xlevel %s %d

i used the command line from:
