Haven't heard about TAK for quite a while... wink.gif
Also TAK's homepage's last update is dated April 15 2007.
I'm very much interested in documentation about TAK's container format to be able to implement it in "Audio Tools Library" w/o the need of an external DLL.

Any news are highly appreciated...

At least not after this thread

Let TBeck take his time to change the project into another (program) language. That would make multi-platform TAK much easier I expect.

That's what I mean: No updates (in terms of news) for 9 weeks...

That's fine with me; I don't mind if it takes a long time until Thomas publishes another/newer/better version of TAK (and I don't mind the programming language, either). We have a working encoder/decoder to play with. But what I'm really after is some kind of documentation about the container format used which is already fixed afaik. That would help other devs to be ready when the final version of TAK surfaces.

No promises (i am short of time these days) but you just have raised the priority of the container documentation on my to do list...
