Hi - I would like some of your expert help. I do audio mixing of remote recordings. I need a high-quality card to work with Samplitude at 24/48 and 24/96. It would have to mix down to 16/44.1 easily and with great quality. Outputs, yes. Inputs not as important as I xfer the files by Firewire. I was looking at a Korean-made card with four flippable inputs RCA/TSR for ~US$150 that was supposed to be good, but I forgot the name. That and any other ideas are welcome. TIA! cool.gif

The soundcard has nothing to do with the mixing or resampling, only the monitoring thereof. As far as your ability to monitor well, the speakers and room treatment are much more important than the soundcard.

The M-Audio Audiophile has been available for $69 but is more often around $99. I'm sure there are half dozen or more others for under $100.

I tracked down the audio card I was thinking of: ESI Juli@. Hope it works. I just ordered it.
