Just found this:
http://lfx.org/~corlett/psf/
Neill Corlett released a 'psf' winamp plugin early this january. Its meant to read psx music dumps, not of streamed music (for which utilities exist), but of games using the psx's internal synth - most of the squaresoft games, most rpgs, basically a large percentage of psx stuff.

Right now ripping soundtracks from the original game cd looks pretty difficult, be Neill has already released music for Legend of Mana and Final Fantasy IX on his page to try, and it already sounds almost exactly like my psx. Just thought some of you music nuts might like to know. I'm definately pumped about it! Will save me alot of money on buying expensive japanese import soundtrack cds if some helpful people start dumping soundtracks! biggrin.gif

I'm always glad to see new stuff in the emulation scene! It's pretty slow these days, so i consider this big news smile.gif. Though at early stages, that's great, i'll check it out. Thanks.
