I jsut wanted you all to know that the new version of the amazing DAW sequencer SONAR 7 supports FLAC. Since these kind of programs use broadcast wave time meta or whatever it is called hopefully the new FLAC 1.21 feature to keep wav meta data may be an awesome thing to have!

And I who yesterday thought about exportign my latest project's tracks to FLAC might now become true when my favourite host supports it.

Anyway, I just wanted you all to know it. It must be a good step forward when a multi tracker/sequencer adds support like this.

That's great news about SONAR's FLAC support. Have you verified it is using FLAC version 1.21 (or is it 1.20 or 1.1.4)?

With SoundForge now supporting FLAC also, maybe Adobe audio/video apps will begin supporting FLAC for audio export/importing. Then, if Apple did too, woo hoo...

I didn't even know 7 was out. I'm still chugging around with 5. Flac support might be a good reason to upgrade now.
