i am having trouble cloning my foobar to a new computer. actually, everything seems to be working fine except for writing tags to files (ratings, mood, playcounter)-- they DO write, but will not update in the columns playlist, track info mod, or file properties until the song is replayed or the window/panel is manually refreshed.

anyone know what it could be? is it maybe related to masstagger? i see that theres a new 'quick tagger' or whatever...

specs of the two computers are pretty much identical: win xp pro, same directory structure and user profile, dotnet 3.0, newest version of foobar on both... yup!

[edit: oh and everything is of course working just fine on the old computer.. just to clarify that.]

ok so i tried again on the new computer with a fresh install, then i copied over the old components (no configs) and set up a basic track info panel in order to display tag info like ratings and such. same problem as before! it is ONLY when something is written to the tags, since i can still display playback time counters, etc.

i am really stumped-- please help!
