The option to exclude file types (under Preferences > General) is very useful for me. But there's one thing i don't understand. Why does this work only when adding files from win-explorer?
I wish it would be also possible under Album List and Facets too, finally i add the tracks from Album List (or now from the brilliant facets-component) and not from commandline, win-explorer or another filemanager.

Everytime i add a folder from Album List or facets i have unwanted files in my playlist. That's annoying. Is it possible to add this feature 'global'?

Thanks for reading and thanks for answering

Just noticed that there is another playce for excluding filetypes. Under Preferences > Media Library. Now it works systemwide. Must be blind. Never saw it before blink.gif

Yep, the media library has its own filter... biggrin.gif actually a good thing, if you ask me.
