First off, thanks for all the efforts involved in developing this player.

New Album List component
*Updates automatically with Media Library content changes (“Refresh” command no longer needed)

Could anyone pretty please give an example on how this is supposed to be used?
This is how I proceed:
Pref -> Media Library -> Add a chosen folder containing numerous albums -> Scan.
Now, the way I understand the new feature, whenever an album is added or deleted, the Album List should be updated automatically without having to use the "Rescan Media Library" function, right?
This isn't the case here though, am I doing anything wrong here?

I think they mean "without having to use 'Refresh Tree' command, in album list" (Right click on album list (context menu) > Refresh Tree).

Thanks for replying.
Well, I could just as well use a keyboard shortcut to rescan that Media Library on the fly but this is nothing like automatic update, is it? unsure.gif

You could also simply make sure you add new files to the playlist once and they will automatically be added to the media library as long as the files are located within one of the configured media library paths. In my opinion this is faster than constantly rescanning.

How do you add tracks to your libraryfolders?

If you add them with the File Operations Component your library will be updated without rescanning. Think a moment about how much better that is than that you requested: Just load the tracks in a playlist, eventually edit them and then just use Move to... or Copy to.... The tracks will not only be added to media library folders but also be organized in proper folders and renamed as you desire. All that happens in one step and library is updated!

Yes, you're right.
The trouble is, I'm not very fond of playlists you see, I've used foo_uie_explorer so far but I was just a little curious about that new feature smile.gif
So, all in all the automatic update function implies to Playlists, not to Album List, right?
Anyway, I'll have to cope with that in the end, I take it.
Thanks heaps!

How do you add tracks to your libraryfolders?

Well, beat me to death but I usually do this outside Foobar using Total Commander for instance.

Alright, I reckon this would make a nice approach, thanks wink.gif

Also notice that the saved presets are now available in contextmenu so that you also can bind "add to library" to a hotkey.
