I threw this little config. together for simplicity and speed using ColumnsUI.

I never maximize foobar in the first place so I was hoping there was some way I could just remove/hide the maximize button altogether. This little detail has been bothering me for quite some time so I figured I'd finally ask to see if anyone else can help me out. So, yeah, if there is even a way to do this I'd love to know how.

Thanks in advance,

That button has to do with windows and your visual style. You can't remove that using Columns UI.

I'm pretty sure there's a way to remove the title bar entirely, if you use Panels UI, but I'm not sure there's a way to do so using Columns. I certainly don't know of any way of removing one of those buttons.

you may edit your current VS ,remove the button and start (?) using WindowBlinds.

WB gives you the option to set different VS's to certain Programms.
So you got the edited one for Foobar and the normal one for Windows etc.

not an easy way,but a way blink.gif

Like always, there are ways but those are not appreciated if not forbidden. You want to change the style of your foobar-window [$WS_..] (style is meant as a parameter-term, not creative). Colors etc. are given by your VisualStyle (theme), this would be a systemwide change.
AFAIK (not entirely sure) by the terms of the foobar2000-SDK no code/plugin is allowed to modify the parent-window if it's not given by itsself, means only UI-plugins should be able to do so - if at all! Maybe PUI has such possibilities, who knows, I don't use stuff like that.
Whatever I suggest to let the things like they are, otherwise change your VS or use AutoIt3 to do your treatments.
