It's in French, sorry... Can someone translate it? It should handle something about innovated Sony Key2Audio CD-protection...

Nothing really interesting, they say that the next version of key2audio will allow to listen the CD on a computer without allowing sharing files, like Cactus Datashield 200.
They will certainly use a software player to play encrypted low quality files.

They also say that Universal is the only one not to have a policy of CD protection. Pascal Negre, chairman and managing director of Universal music France says "Better put nothing than something unsatisfying". Exeptions are done at artists demand, like Björk. Pascal Negre considers a priority the outcome of the SACD already made in order to allow only one copy.

(they tell it, not me... I doubt that SACD allows even a signle copy).

The article about taxes on blank media is also interesting. If you know an automatic translator, I can start from an english draft and finish the translation. Translating all by hand would be too long.

Okay, thanx a lot... as I know just a few French words (but MERDE is amongst them, of course biggrin.gif ) I had no idea what's all about and thought it could be maybe interesting...
