HE AAC also works
Yes. Just to clarify, there is Multichannel HE-AACv1, just not HE-AACv2. "v2" adds the parametric stereo tool which obviously wouldn't apply to multichannel sources.
is there any way to check that the file that has encoded into a HE-AAC multichannel is really encoded as multichannel..maybe its placed in some header(if so,can u pls tell me where exactly it could be indicated)...
because,if we just throw multichannel audio file in command line tool of nero..how do can we say for sure that all the 5 channels are used...to make into 5 channel multichannel aac...how to ensure this? as it is possible that the encoder would just take 2(stereo) channels from uncompressed multichannel wave and make a HE-aac audio....since this could be possible..is there any way to check that the file that has encoded into a HE-AAC multichannel is really encoded as multichannel
Also, when we speak of multichannel aac...how many channels are possible in uncompressed wave that the nero aac encoder that can take..and also how many number of channel support the standard provides..for multichannel audio...basicall...when we say
multichannel aac,i want to know the range of channel numbers for the audio file to be considered as multichannel in AAC context.
Thnx
