Hi,

I'm trying to display stars to represent the rating of the song, to do this I'm using the Code 2000 font, but it's not quite as pretty as Tahoma so I'd like to use Code 2000 only in the ratings column. I know it needs to be done in the Style tab but I've not had any luck working out the syntax!

If this has already been answered elsewhere I'm sorry, I tried searching but couldn't find anything on setting the font.

Thanks in advance,

RandomCake

I assume you're using ColumnsUI?
I had the same wish as you, but you can't override the font type with formatting in the columns.

though musicmusic is considering some sort of rating column implementation for NG playlist:

Okay, had a look and now I'm trying to get them to work in any normal font as I can see the stars fine on that page :S

$char(9733) and $char(9734) (★☆)

Right there I see them, but I set it to Tahoma, Segoe Media Centre (I don't have UI sad.gif only on XP MCE) and also a few other fonts such as ariel, what's going on? Am I being dumb or something? Is Firefox getting its fonts from some other magical place?

Meh, why can't Microsoft just share their fonts nice! I've got a legit copy of XP and I can't even have stars tongue.gif But any old thief could easily...

EDIT: Okay, I've managed to find Calibri star.ttf which only has the solid black star in it, got that working but I'd still be really greatful to understand which font it is windows is rendering the stars on the forum with!!!
Keikonium
Use Ariel Unicode MS. It has a star, and it looks good. Thats what I use anyways. Just open up the charmap in windows XP and find the code for the stars, and then use $char(****). Sorry I can't be more help, I am at school right now.
