I loaded a CD and start play, foobar 0.9.4.4 froze (= I lost patience after ~30 secs, like any luser...). So I killed it from Task Manager.

It doesn't seem to be possible to get foobar to play again in the same Windows session.
I installed 0.9.4.5, reset all components and tried loading .wav files from the HD instead. Same again.

Meanwhile the sound system and CD is in perfect health. I could install and run AudioGrabber, rip the CD to file and play it from AG.
(Yes I closed AG when trying foobar again)

I have DirectX 9.0c on a Realtek card, both Realtek and "Primary Sound driver" works in other programs.
So foobar choked on something and left a lock somewhere? Or crashed a plugin?

The next step is to reboot Windoze, but that's a major break of workflow, so AudioGrabber it is for now.
I expect foobar to work after a reboot. But it's weird that the playback part breaks down while everything else works. Config etc works fine when I start/close foobar without trying to play anything.
