Hi, i really like the lastest version of foobar. But i have never been able to figure out how to make a custom string for one of my needs. Here is an example.
sort by? or through
A-Z
A
B
C
D
etc.. Can't figure out what the title formating string is, to group my artist's, or my albums, like that.
If anyone has any idea how that is done, i would really like to have that.

Read the titleformat_help.html that came with your foobar installation!
There are the functions you need e.g.:

Split in Facets to "A, B, C, ..." means that we need to get the first character of the artist! If I look up in the help I find:
"$cut(X,Y) = Truncates X to Y characters."

so
$cut(%artist%,1)
should do the job!

As far as I know, sorting by artist automatically sorts alphabetically...

Keikonium, i believe you're right, but i wanted to sort by First letter only.
