I own 2 E-MU 0404 audio interfaces. They are installed on two computers. On one machine the Windows DirectSound driver has some timing problem. Even without much load on the computer, uninterrupted playback is not possible. Audio I/O is normal only using ASIO. I noticed that the wave driver says A000 on that computer, while the other one has 8000 number in the end. What do these numbers mean?

Problem has been solved on the "A000" interface by installing the new v2.00 driver.
