I have some downloaded streams in the .asf containers. They contain only audio files. Can anyone tell me a way to extract the audio in the original audio format(such as .wma , .mp3 , etc.) from these files? THANKS for any help.
Rename to .wma and any program which can read wma can read them (or should be able to).

I can rename to .wma and listen to the files on a media player, but can not convert them or do other functions. THANKS.

With the tools installed on my PC, I can convert using
-winamp wma plugin
or
-avisynth + virtualdub (opens video(if any) too)
