Firstly let me say how much i love foobar2000. I have music in more than a dozen languages and i love the fact i can get the filenames and meta tags in the original language.

I do have a problem with the Nero AAC encoder though and i have noticed this in the past but not reported it.

Converting to music albums with the default settings (i use Q .55 actually) is great. (it would be good if it could also add the album image - but it's ok to do by hand).

Problem is: -

When using any other setting like -he -he2 -2pass, etc.

after the file has been converted to WAV, i receive the error
"error flushing file (can not be found)" or similiar.

This is anoying because i am using foobar2000 to convert a number of DTS movie sound tracks to AAC 5.1 because nero recode doesn't support this.

I would appreciate if you could look into it as for now the work around is to convert DTS to WAV and then goto dos prompt to run neroaacenc manually.

Thanks.

p.s. the new 9.5 is great, it completely replaces my Columui settings before but it would be good if you could import columnui buttons.... i had my own buttons which i like more.
igndenok
i use this setting when convert using neroaccenc

-q 1.00 -ignorelength -if - -of %d

never use -lc -he -he2 because it written in readme.txt

Note that the above switches (-lc, -he, -hev2) should not be
used; optimal AAC profile is automatically determined from
quality/bitrate settings when no override is specified.

and usually i got lc profile
