is this possible if so wht is recommended?

I want to create FLAC backup and cuesheet for re-encoding...does EAC do this for me or do I need something else to create cueshett?

Thanks

You can use EAC to do this, but you must use another application in conjunction with EAC; so EAC will call this other application instead of an encoder, and the application will call one or more encoders (or other applications like taggers or gain calculators).

I use REACT but you may prefer MAREO.

I use dbpoweramp multi encoder. It gets album art/ does replaygain. Perfect.

I just end up ripping to FLAC then using foobar to go to MP3 with LAME. 2 steps but it doesn't bother me smile.gif

REACT2 works absolutely well for this purpose.

MAREO 6 (release candidate 2) does just that. You can help us test it.

Thanks for responses I have REACT 2 working and ripping to FLAC and mp3 all very nicely thanks and easy to setup.

Question:

In the drive options tab my drive offset is greyed out although the greyed out number +48 is correct fro my drive so I presume I am accurateripping ok.....I think it has tested the drive and updated it automatically when I installed EAC.

I am using the latest version of EAC with REACT2 script and the add on but read REACT2 required an older version of EAC. Does the addon resolve this issue?

Once I confirm this I will go into full rip mode

Thanks for Your help
