Alright, I have a problem. I'm currently using mppdec and the MPC Batch Encoder front-end to make .mpc into .wavs so I can make audio CDs out of them. But the problem is that the .wav file that the decoder outputs can't be read for some reason by the Nero burning software. The .wav file cannot be read by Windows sound recorder and Creative's wave editor as well, but it can be read by Sound Forge and Winamp, so I don't know what's up. The .wav files that outputs look normal to me...PCM, 32 bit, 44KHz, etc. Is there supposed to be a special setting I need to use in the mppdec?
Maybe you should just try 16bit PCM. 32bit would have to be reduced to 16bit anyway to be burnt on an audio CD.
