Hi everybody!

Well, I am always sorting by folder structure in Album List. If I double click on a folder, it will be enqueued to the current playlist. Now i want that these files are automatically sorted by track in the current playlist. Is that possible? I know that there's the possibility of sorting by artist/album, but I love my folder structure wink.gif

My folder structure:

Artist - Year - Album/Artist-Title (but correctly tagged with track ...)

Here's an example of my problem in the following screenshot

(Just a little thing: why are my correctly tagged AC/DC mp3s always showed als AC, DC ??)

Hope you understand my problem (i found nothing by searching this forum)

I tried but it didn't work. Thanks for help!

Now I found the solution to this problem! (Thanks to the title formatting syntax wink.gif )

%directoryname%|%track%.%title%

Hello again!
Now there's another problem! If I using %directoryname% subfolder are also shown in the "main" tree of Album List - now I have four folders "CD 1" , "CD 2" .... where all tracks that are located in "CD x" folders are shown.
How do I solve this problem?

When I choose "sort by folder structure" it is everything well, except from sorting by track. Does anybody know the "code" for "sort by folder structure" or another possibility ?

Thanks guys!

"by folder structure" is not based on titleformatting.

You have two options:

1. Use an album list view like %album artist% - [%date% - ]%album%|%tracknumber%. %title%.

2. Prefix your filenames with a tracknumber.

Thanks!

I found a solution. If I use the %discnumber% tag it works with the following script:

CODE
$if(%discnumber%, $directory(%path%, 2)|CD %discnumber%|%track%.  %title%, $directory(%path%)|%track%.  %title%)

Now my Album List is sorting every mp3 that contains a discnumber. Foobar is great! biggrin.gif
