Can anyone tell me if there is a way to keep/save my playlists when upgrading from v0.9.4.3 to version 0.9.4.5?? My current install have ten playlist in tabs. I would really like them to make the transition smile.gif

And i would really like to keep my playlist appearance as well. Is there a way to keep this?

The new Foobar2000 looks awesome. Would be nice to check it out smile.gif

everything is kept, you dont loose anything but it does not hurt to back your stuff up and make sure you have the latest versions of all the components...

Please read the FAQ, "How will upgrading affect my settings?" section.

Thanks a lot for your help. My bad. Of course i should have read the FAQ.

But downloading Foobar v0.9.4.5 and trying to install only gives me:

Error opening file for writing:

C:\Program Files (x86)\foobar2000\foobar2000.exe

Click Abort to stop the installation,
Retry to try again, or
Ignore to skip this file.

Hitting Ignore seems to go fine until running Foobar. Then my old version (0.9.4.3) comes up. So what to do now?

Sounds like foobar2000 was still running while you tried to upgrade it.

Edit: Or, if that's not the case, it could be related to user privileges if you're running Vista.

Not running Vista. Foobar2000 was shut down properly befor upgrade attempt. Have experienced the same once before when upgrading to current v0.9.4.3. But cant remember the solution.

OS: Win Xp Pro x64

Edit: Hmm, strange. Figured it out. Had to rename my existing foobar folder in program files. Then installing by ignoring the error message. Est voila; all playlist are there. Only thing missing was my colors. A bit of hell to get those back. But a small price to pay. No running v0.9.5 beta 7 smile.gif
