When the config files are located in application data folder in 9.5 Beta 7 on every start up I get the "what's new notification" popup. If it is in the main application folder it shows once unless there is a change. There is a great advatange to have the the config file in appdata. Is there a way to switch this off? I can't seem to find anything in the pref. menu. tia

Never mind it was just a matter of removing whatsnew.dll in the components folder.

That is strange. foo_whatsnew works properly here, no matter whether user profile support is enabled or not.
