I realized that although some full albums have track numbers they might all have 01. for all the tracks
I think some foobar script I ran did it.
Everything that I search for on these forums ends up being a really old thread.
I was wondering if there was a way to auto track number my music.
I'm thinking it's pretty much impossible because there is no way my PC would know which track number my files are unless the files contain the information in them somehow.

You can use "Auto Track Number" in the properties dialog if your files meet the following conditions:

1. Albums are sorted into folders. One album resides in one folder.
2. Filenames contain track numbers in front of the titles, so that they are ordered properly when sorting by filename.

thats just the thing...
the files actually all have "01." in them.
Is there an app out there that will look for track numbers for me?
Like the whole library?
Couldn't be tooo of if I used one of those.
I know I can individually go to an album and use foobar's Discogs tagger script to do that, but it re-tags the whole album. I just want an app or maybe foobar script that looks for track numbers from the internet.
