hi im using foobar 2k v 0.9.5 beta 8 and i was looking in the custom button section where tons of users posted their buttons they made but im having trouble applying could someone please walk me through?

It can't be done with the Default UI. You need to use a third-party interface like Columns UI or Panels UI in order to use custom buttons.

If you're using Columns, right-click on the Button bar, select Customize, and go from there. If you're using Panels, uh, good luck to you. (I think you basically have to write code to put in your own buttons using Panels. There's documentation floating around somewhere.)
