Hello all!

I'm planning on purchasing an expensive Onkyo CS-V720S (http://www.us.onkyo.com/model.cfm?m=CS-V720S&class=Audiosys&p=i) for christmas.....and I just want to make sure that some of my CDs are compatible.

According to the website and the store selling it, it did NOT say it would support CD-R/RW playback or any formats other than .MP3, WMA, SACD, and other DVD formats.....

So, would some of the music in which I originally downloaded as .FLAC/.APE, in which I converted to .WAVE when cloning them on a blank CD be able to play on this Onkyo shelf-stereo? Thanks in advance!

Hi Weiner,
According to Consumer Guide, yes it does. Read for yourself.

It appears to confirm reading of CD-R/RW discs and MP3 files. Did the OP mean that the files were converted to wav in order to burn them as audio CDs? If so then they should definitely be compatible.
