Hello,
I have some questions about ReplayGain and would appreciate any help given.
If I download mp3s that have been ReplayGained, will my software audio player automatically adjust the volume output to that which is stored in the ReplayGain data/tag? Or would I need to manually enable something in my audio player to do this? I currently use Winamp 5.13.
I'm asking this because when I download mp3s, I want the original, unedited mp3. I prefer not to have the ReplayGain info in it. But as long as I can get my audio player to not "read" this ReplayGain info, then I guess it would be ok.
Will Winamp automatically "read" this ReplayGain info and adjust the volume output accordingly? If so, is there a way to make it so that it doesn't?
Thanks.

Last I checked, Winamp does not use ReplayGain by default. If you did want it later, it is under Preferences>Playback>Replay Gain

If I use MP3Gain to normalize, will it conflict with ReplayGain data/tags even though I DO NOT have ReplayGain enabled on Winamp?

I don't know what you mean by conflict, but I think I can assure you "conflicts" will never be a problem. wink.gif
