Need linux decoding of aac-he latm/loas for viewing live-tv and recordings in
mythtv/kaffeine/xine/mplayer.
What to do?

Take a look at the Mplayer mailing list. Nico Sabbi has now got working patched for faad2 that I'm testing. Once these get upstream we should have support in most Linux media players.
