Hi,

I have Vista Business and an ESI Juli@ soundcard, with an Envy24HT chip on it.

The problem is, that I only hear stereo over my Onkyo 504, when I play a dts file/dvd
AND even when I do the sound test for dts in the properties of my spdif output (and yes, both DTS Audio and DD are selected there)!
If it wasn't for that, I would tell you know that AC3/DD works flawlessly, that I use AC3Filter, etc. But I fear my problem is deeper.
Of course I use the most recent drivers for my soundcard, and I even tried my onboard sound (realtek 889) spdif out,
and it gave the same sad result: All DD works fine, all dts doesn't.

When I played with the AC3Filter settings, I sometimes even had the dts sign on the Onkyo, but the sound still only came out of my front speakers, no rear, no center.

I found this article from microsoft,
that seems to fit my problem (only I don't get the workaround, I have both options selected).

Does anyone have an idea, what I could do?
