I have ripped some tracks..and didn't fill in the ID3 tags ..so the tracks are numbered numerially.

Here's what's frustrating me. I have IDE3Tag It..suppposed to be great..well how come I cannot rename the FILE name of the track itsefl w/out going into Windows and doing right click>Rename???

What am I missing here??????? Help

I am in IDE3 tag..and I see the window that has all the info...but when I change the Title..it doesn't change the FILENAME too...is there software that will do this?

Ah crap I don't fine ID3Tag IT intuitive at all......it sucks. I mean I changed information in IDE3 Tag..yet when I open up WinAmp 2.8 the information I changed is not reflected meaning the track name...the track names are still labelled numerically....The only that has changed is the artists name..

I know this is supposed to be easy but it's NOT...oh FU** I give up for now!!

You want to rename mp3 files using the informations from the Tag, right?

I suggest you to try ID3 Master:
-Add the files in Step 1, then go to Step 2 and select TAG>Filename
-You must specify a string: if the tag contain artist, track name and track number then the string will be "%T. %2 - %1"
-%T stand for track number, %2 stand for artist and %1 stand for track name.

Otherwise if you want to do the opposite (create tags using filenames) you can use a string that must respect the structure of the filename (the string for a filename like "05. Eiffel 65 - Blue" will be "%T. %2 - %1")

Nearly all Tag Programs can do this, I don't know about ID3 Tag IT.
