I can`t find how to make highlighting of a current playing song, I see only column "Playing" with arrow and it doesn`t satisfy me.
I use 0.9.5, in 0.9.4 there was proper highlighting.

Not sure what your post means, Slotos, but when i double click on the status bar it highlights the "now playing" song.
(same way the "now playing" button worked in .94)

nightfishing, double clicking on the status bar selects currently playing song. Selecting is not equal to highlighting. Highlighting in this context means making the playlist item easily distinguishable from other ones.
I seem to have the same problem.
In past versions, the song currently being played was always highlighted, and the program skipped trough the list if you had shuffle enabled.
Is there a way to get this working again?
It happens that I hear a song of a certain artist in shuffle mode, but want to listen to another song from the same artist. Now I've got to look for the song myself with the search function.

What you're asking for currently isn't possible.
If the playing arrow's not good enough for you, then you might try columnsUI or even panelsUI.
If that doesn't suit you then, tough.

AFAIK, highlighting = changing the BG color. Selecting does that with the Default UI.

What's is the likeliness of this feature being introduced in future versions? I would certainly miss the highlighting (sticking with columns ui for now).
An extra column for only one track is annoying. At least an option to disable that column would be appreciated.

You can disable any of the columns by right-clicking on the playlist header. Is that what you're meaning?
