Updated to Leopard a few days ago, and last night went to backup a V0 copy of an unreleased CD.
But, for some reason, the lame encoder isn't actually encoding properly. Bummer. EAC is definitely extracting the files , as the .wav files are in the destination folder.
My Leopard install was an Archive and Install, and everything else (with the exception of Windows sharing) was still setup the same upon restart.
The disc in question also has a second session with a video on it. But, from within EAC, I'm only selecting the 12 tracks, and not the additional session.
Also, after the initial install of Leopard, Parallels wasn't working... mainly because some of the System folder had changed. I re-installed Parallels and all seemed fine... I use MDM Zinc on Parallels as well.
Any one have experience with this? Thanks. The setup worked flawlessly in the past, and only after the Leopard install has it gone awry.

You don't say if you are trying to run LAME under OS X or Windoze; since you mention EAC I would suspect you go back and forth between the two. Without knowing this it is hard to make sense of your post.
I run Leopard with no Windoze installation at all - the value was simply not there - and LAME works fine with the current beta release of MAX. For that matter, I don't have EAC anymore at all, I just use iTunes or MAX and the results are peachy.
I only use MAX for "problem" CDs; otherwise, iTunes handles it just fine (especially for those of us who use AAC as our standard lossy format).

Der.
Yea, I'm trying to use LAME with EAC... via Parallels (most recent version).
I've heard EAC is one of the better solutions to creating V0 mp3 files...

I wouldn't say it's a better solution for creating mp3 files, but it's probably a better ripper than MAX.
Speaking of, I could never figure out if MAX was able to properly deal with drives that cache audio data.
