You're using an outdated and unofficial version of the foo_playcount component.

Updating to the latest official version from the additional components site probably solves these issues.

Other stable third party options are foo_playcount_mod and foo_playcount_custom

Each functions a little bit differently, so you can pick whichever best suit your needs.
