Wow! This thing is very fast! It must begin rendering pages the second packets hit the buffer, because it is faster than even IE6. I need to use it for awhile longer for testing, but I may consider switching if renders DHTML/CSS properly, considerning that many (incompetent) web coders only code for IE (uggh).

Unless things changed massively between 6 and 7 then it will not render all standard HTML/CSS propperly let alone IE raped pages. That along with the uber proprietary bookmark format make it a double no no for me.

If anyone installs Opera 7 and wisely uses an installation watching program you will be in for a treat of a mess.
The installer recommends ..\Program Files\Opera7\ as the install dir, which is fine. However upon expection of a spied on installation after the first launching of the browser it not only creates the install dir but it also creates ..\Program Files\Opera\.
Also the browser has finally joined the lets put shit all over your system age since it now places data in
...\Windows\Application Data\.
Such a mess, I'm glad my 6x registration code didn't work. Uninstalled in less than 15 minutes.
So far, so good.
Does have a couple of glitches, though.
