Problem description: I'm having trouble getting getting the syntax of the Winamp "title bar" format string to out put the correct text. Here's what I'd like it to say :
CODE

<Artist>'s <Track Title> (# <Track Number On Album>) from <Album> (<Release Year>) [<Codec> @ <Bitrate>kbps]

Attempted fixes: I've tried removing the text which isn't a tag (like the ()'s, #, & 's), got a little closer, but still I cant get it working correctly:
CODE

Input String : %artist %track%  %title%  %album%  %codec% %bitrate%
Output String : playing:  at 723kbps <Winamp 2.80>

Operating system: Windows XP pro 32bit

I have Googled and read the FAQ: True

So my question is: Can someone please write the syntax that would output my given format? And/Or link me to some valid syntax I can enter in this field? I don't want it to say <Winamp 2.80> at the end, if possible (maybe foobar 0.9.5 instead?). Also, any good, updated information on TAGZ would be appreciated, I've found very little on google that is from post- 2003 or so, and this program has been updated many times since then. Thanks!

edit : thanks to the moderator who split my post out of the dead component thread I originally posted it in, wasn't sure if this warranted it's own thread or not.

your input string needs another % after artist

I use litestep and a module I have grabs the title and it shows all these fields correctly

<Winamp 2.80> is not added by foo_winamp_spam
-Winamp is added and I can try to make it an option but I believe some programs will not find the window without that in the Title

using ApexDC v0.4.0c it displayed the same string as Litestep did so I believe either it is a bug in the new DC or something wrong with your string
