I love my Rockboxed Sansa c250 and 4th gen iPod. I think everybody should try it out if their dap is supported smile.gif

how i would love something like this for the Sony NW A3000 sad.gif sadly it seems that only the NW A80x model is under development :/ ive really been looking for a good flac portable player, but either they are too big or have to little HD space, or to low battery time.

the only flac player that seems to hold enough space and battery and comfort is the cowon iAudio7 (latest model with 16GB, and supposedly 60h playback on mp3 i take it), but all reviews i have found says that even tho the built in amp is awesome and the soundquality is splendid, it fails on the annoying interface and strange setup.

i still think about ordering one tho.. interface is secondary to sound quality as long as the HD and battery time is sufficient, imo

edit: cus the list of players means it only works for them, right? not on any portable mp3 player? right? *nervous*

Correct.

Geez this is old stuff indeed although worth mentioning again for those not in the know, I like the new current build as it has the fantastic cover flow demo (would be better if you actually start playing tracks this method, but I'm sure some geeks are working on it) Go with MPC and Rocbox W00t!

Also rockbox has it's own interface so you won't be using the one on the player itself smile.gif

hmm, right you are, rockbox might be a sweet backup if the interface does turn out annoying!
