hey,

i hope this is the right section to post this but i had a question i just bought Tag & rename and i wanted to see if it also supports making folders. i mean cd rips and they are all in one folder i got like 50 albums in 1 folder and they are all tagged now but i wanted to see if i could actually make it so they would tag it into seperate folders so it would be like Artist name (album)/Artist - Title

i looked at the different tags they got but i didnt see one of those so i thought if i could custom make it?

any ideas

thanks,

I'm pretty sure all you have to do to make folders is to insert an /. So your formatting string might look something like this; %artist%/%album%/%tracknumber% - %title% Which would result in a naming scheme like this; Pink Floyd/Dark Side of the Moon/04 - Time, where the backslashes are new folders.

This can be done with T&R.

In the "Rename Files" tab, click on "Mask Editor." This will allow you to create folders and filenames based on tag information. You can also folders into the mask.

Artist\Album\Track # would be %1\%3\%6.
