Which of these MP3's, judging by the plot spectrum, do you think is the 320kbps CBR and the 192kbps CBR?

I'm going with the second because the first would be too obvious

What I really find interesting is how many more albums I can store on my iAudio 7 (and how much better they sound) when I just convert them into little JPEGs of the spectrums!

Go lossless: Use GIF !
The first one is 1280 kbps, the second is 320 kbps. If you post a third one it automatically becomes 80 kbps, fourth one 20 kbps, and so on.

Better yet, use PNG! More colors and also lossless!
oh my, you people gotta be blind ...
obviously, the first pic shows the 320kbps file, since the purple color is much brighter !!one!!1!!1!

definitely the second...
the first one indicates clipping and thus should be 192.
What do you mean - is this a joke I don't get? They both cross 0db if that's what you mean!

Well, the top picture is 192kbps CBR and the bottom picture is supposedly 320kbps CBR.
Could this mean that the 320kbps CBR has been re-encoded from a 192kbps CBR possibly?
All kidding aside, you really can't tell from the type of spectra that you provided. If it is a good 192 kbps encode then you probably can't tell it from a 320 kbps encode by listening either, not even if you have the original against which to compare them both.
If they both sound good to you then keep the smaller one.

> How about a waveform spectrum analysis...
How about accepting the fact that frequency response graphs tell you nothing conclusive about the bitrate (or quality!) and are unable to tell you whether there's clipping or not.
