Hi there!

I just started to convert some of my simple txt-lyrics into lrc as now I've got an MP3-Player that can read them.
Of course I want to show them in foobar, too. I only found the component "lyrics panel" that can show them. But it needs Columns UI. I'm using the Default UI from 0.9.5.

Is there a possibility to read the files without changing from my Default UI to Columns UI?

Well, there is currently no lyrics plugin compatible with default ui, but you still can display your lyrics using foo_uie_lyrics with foo_dockables_panels.

Shure it is a way to handle with it but for those who wanna have only one window (or dockable panels like in winamp with the quite nice feature to bring them to a minimal size (you know what I mean, right?)) it's a little bit uncomfortable.

There're still no new information about a Default-UI-Plugin, am I right?

Anyhow I'll have a look on dockable Panels, maybe it has been developed further and got some new nice features, would make me happy.

Thanks

Just a worthless comment. I wish there was something that didn't depend on dockable panels, as they have their own "focus" being a modal window (or whatever), which is quite bothersome for us keyboard-only lovers...

My understanding is that the SDK for the new Default UI hasn't yet been released to the public, making third-party components for it effectively impossible right now.

Currently, there is nothing released. I am sure there will be much rejoicing when more addins for the killer 0.9.5 UI start rolling out, but for now we just thank those who find the time to develop these applications and wait, or start to develop your own.

Yes, it is a bit awkward dealing with the dockable panels, but it's a bandaid that I am grateful to have in the interim while the new UI is being worked in.
