I get "not a valid win32 application" on Windows 2000, and it simply does nothing on Vista x64. Does this need cygwin or something, or is it just a bum compile? There are no docs or auxillary files in the download... just madplay.exe.

edit: nevermind, i'm on crack.

madplay-0.15.2b.zip from rarewares. Works perfectly.

Maybe you need to run with elevated privileges, 'run as administrator' or whatever it's called? Right click on the context menu on the exe in explorer and have a look.

WinXP SP2 (32 bit).

But madplay is compressed by UPX. Maybe this can cause errors.
