Full Version: iTunes MP3 Encoder
Do they use the same encoder as WMP 11. I want to know cause i like the encoder on WMP but itunes also has a mp3 vbr encoder.

AFAIK WMP11 uses Fraunhofer encoder. iTunes borrows encoder from Quicktime. They're both good. (Recommended encoder is LAME, though).
