I would like to create different shortcuts for foobar, for example

-one with the default ui
-one with a panels ui skin
-one with clumns ui

and is it even possible to command which theme (for default ui) or skin (for clomuns ui/panels ui)?


Would be great. Why? Because sometimes I don´t need a beautiful config but just sth. very low on memory footprint for playing music in the backround.

Very unlikely you'll ever see this. Especially the "theme" request because the is no theming in most UIs.
Simply use independent foobar installations which make no use of "%appdata%\foobar2000\" (i.e. no user_profiles_enabled file in their fb2k folder).

I was hoping for something like this too. There could be a restart button we could assign to switch back and forth. Like Nero & Nero Express.

Since the 2 years I´ve been using foobar it has grown rapidly in customization. In the beginning I laughed it off but now the possibilities (lyrics show, coverflow, graphical browser, facets like itunes....) have outgrown other audioplayers.
