Im having the most strange problem. When i try to copy/move/import an AIF file, my computer hangs for a while (like 15 secs or more) before it starts working, and then it works really bad.
I've been having this problem for months, so i just formatted my System HD and guess what... it is still happening ! i hadnt even installed quicktime yet, and i have the same problem.
I use ableton live, and i have exactly the same problem when i try to move an .aif.asd file ! its like if windows just doesnt want to work with anything called AIF. Not only that, but if i rename the .AIF to something like .FIA or whatever, it still has the same slow behavior.

The biggest problem is that i have to work with AIF files, so i have to get a solution to this.
